At the beach don't forget to put on your sunscreen. The recommended protection is the highest (protection 50).
Try not to take valuables to the beach, this way you will avoid loss or theft.
In any place and establishment you can pay with bank card, mobile or smartwatch so it is not necessary to carry cash.
When you go to eat at a restaurant, ask first if the paella and sangria are homemade to avoid disappointment...
After a long trip, the best thing you can do is enjoy this day at the beach in Mallorca. All the beaches have sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee, but you can always go with your towel and lie down on the sand of Playa de Alcudia, Puerto Pollença or Ca'n Picafort. In the first line of any of them, you will find a great gastronomic offer, shops, bars, cafeterias, souvenirs and even perfumeries and supermarkets. Our recommendation is that you relax, enjoy the sun and the sea breeze and take the opportunity to eat a good paella with a very cold sangria (the classic that never fails) in front of the sea. When night falls, you can enjoy the summer atmosphere of the area: romantic restaurants, cocktail bars, chill out bars, pubs with live music and travelers from all over the world happy to be in Mallorca. Quite a privilege!
Alcudia and Pollença have been awarded the Most Beautiful Town in Spain award. This means that they meet a series of strict requirements, since this distinction is not awarded to any municipality, but rather has to be thoroughly examined by the experts of the Spanish organization The Most Beautiful Town in Spain. In fact, in this list of towns awarded as the most beautiful in Spain, there are only three in the Balearic Islands.
The perfect sangria is made at the moment and is homemade -no bricks, bottles, or taps- so it will take a few minutes to serve it. Our recommendation is that you ask the waiter first if they make it themselves, this way you will avoid disappointment... Sangria is usually served in a jug, at least one liter, so if there is an option to order just one glass, doubt that it is homemade already. that its elaboration takes many ingredients and it is not profitable or feasible to serve it individually.
Although we can find several types of sangria, the classic sangria is red wine. The ingredients that sangria usually has are:
There are slight variations on what is included change the natural orange juice for orange or lemon soda. There are even those who make sangria with soda. All these formulas are valid and are very rich. The important thing is that they make it in the same establishment and not pour a liter of bottled sangria into a pretty jar...
In the morning, a bus will pick you up at your hotel or nearest point to start this excursion through the beautiful Sierra de la Tramuntana. The first stop will be Valldemossa, a fairytale town where you can walk through its streets and cobbled houses on your own or with the guide. The Church of Sant Bartolomé, the birthplace of Santa Catalina Thomás or the Lledoner viewpoint, are three points of interest that you cannot miss. Of course, you will also have the option of visiting the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa on your own, where illustrious figures of the stature of Chopin, George Sand, Rubén Darío or Jovellanos lived. Tickets can be purchased at the same complex. As we will arrive early, you will have no problem accessing the Cartuja.

For 90 minutes, you can explore the old town of Sóller and stop for lunch at one of the restaurants and cafes in and around the square and stroll along the commercial street, Luna Street, where the house is located. oldest in town, several Majorcan estates, the Ca'n Prunera modernist museum (entrance not included) and small local craft, clothing, perfumery and home shops.
Around 15:00, the famous tram will take you to the Puerto de Sóller, the journey takes about 25 minutes and takes from the very center of town. In the Puerto de Sóller you will have approximately one hour of free time to stroll through this beautiful natural port full of life, shops and ice cream parlors where you can try the traditional Sóller ice cream or its famous oranges. To end the day, the coach and your guide will take you back to your hotel or nearest point. A very complete day!
The Sóller tram was the first electric tram in Mallorca. It was manufactured in 1913 to unite the town with the Port of Sóller. At first it was designed for passenger transport but the needs and the great commercial activity of the time meant that it was also used for the transport of goods, including even an isothermal wagon to transport fish from the port to the center of Sóller.
Artisan ice cream with the "Fet a Sóller" seal.
Oranges and lemons from Sóller.
Orange liqueur.
Red prawn from Sóller, an authentic delicacy.
Olive oil from the Sóller valley.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the beaches of Mallorca where you can also do different water activities such as pedal boating, parasailing, paddlesurfing, windsurfing, playing volleyball... If you prefer, you can also relax in the pool from your hotel and make the most of your summer stay. Remember that you are on vacation and you have to enjoy, rest, have fun and, above all... The llaüt is a beautiful traditional boat from the Balearic Islands that was used for trawling. Currently, most have included a motor and use it more for recreational fishing or to enjoy the sea than as a professional tool, but the truth is that the traditional llaüt, the traditional one, consists of a small boat built with indigenous lateen sail wood, about four meters long, holding three masts and that can reach speeds of up to seven knots. Its structure makes the llaüt a consistent boat of great stability capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions. Majorcans say that the llaüt is
