Florence is a beautiful city located in the north of the central region of Italy, capital and most populated city of the metropolitan city of the same name and of the region of Tuscany. It is famous for being the cradle of the Renaissance, an artistic and cultural movement that flourished in the 15th century and left a legacy of masterpieces of painting, sculpture and architecture.
