Travel guide of Full Vietnam and Angkor temples in Siem Reap

Day 1:

FLIGHT DEPARTURE TO HANOI

Departure by flight from your selected airport of origin to Hanoi airport (Vietnam). Night on board.


Note: the selected flight must be +1 day to be able to complete the entire itinerary. If this is not possible, contact one of our agents.

Day 2:

HANOI

Arrival at Hanoi airport, capital of Vietnam. There you must complete the immigration procedures (passport and visa control) and collect your luggage. Transfer to the hotel where you can use the room from 2 p.m. Depending on the arrival time of your flight, you can take a walk through this bustling city, full of cables everywhere and motorcycles on the sidewalks that give it a peculiar charm. Day 3:

HANOI

Breakfast and visit the city of Hanoi, the current capital of Vietnam that mixes modernity with tradition. On this visit you will be able to see tree-lined avenues, French colonial architecture and oriental temples. This guided tour includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on stilts and the Governor's Palace, seen from the outside; the Ho Chi Minh House, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Temple of Literature strong>, the first university in the country founded in 1070. Lunch included in a local restaurant to then move to the Hoa Lo prison-museum, known as "the Hilton" for the enormous number of American convicts who were imprisoned from 1954 to 1973. To end the visit to the city, there is nothing better than doing it by observing the Hoa Kiem Lake and taking a cycle ride through the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 4:

HANOI - HALONG BAY

After breakfast, the guide will be waiting for you in the hotel hall at the agreed time to depart by road to the popular Halong Bay, World Heritage Site. During the journey you will be able to admire the beautiful lands of the Red River Delta, the rice fields and the water buffaloes. Once in Halong, you will board a typical Vietnamese reed wood boat where you will enjoy a mini cruise (Asian style) through the bay. Lunch included on board.


After eating, you will continue sailing and discovering impressive places such as Turtle Island, Dog Island, Man's Head... A landscape of the most photographed for its enormous green islets that have been the setting for several films. In the afternoon, you will have free time to relax on the ship, either on the deck or in your cabin, or take a swim in the emerald green waters that characterize Halong Bay. Dinner included and accommodation on board.


Note: Guide access is not allowed on Halong Bay boats. Passengers will be looked after by the friendly English-speaking crew. The itinerary of the cruise visits is subject to change without prior notice depending on weather or other inconveniences.



Day 5:

HALONG BAY - HANOI -DANANG - HOI AN

Light breakfast and then enjoy a fabulous brunch while the journey continues where you will observe islands and islets, visiting the most relevant ones. Between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. disembarkation and transfer to Hanoi airport will take place to take a domestic flight to Danang (flight included). Arrival at Danang airport and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. Accommodation.

Day 6:

HOI AN

Breakfast and visit the city of Hoi An, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for its lanterns. Walk through the center of the old city to visit the traditional merchants' homes, the Japanese Bridge, which is more than 400 years old, the Phuc Kien Temple , an old house with traditional architecture, and the City History Museum (Sa Huynh). Lunch included at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will have free time to enjoy the beach, stroll through the city center or do some shopping in its small local shops. Accommodation.

Day 7:

HOI AN - HUE

Breakfast and transfer by road to the city of HUE, former imperial capital of Vietnam. Along the way you will be able to see the Hai Van port or Port of the Clouds and the Lang Co beach (approx. 3 hours). Next, visit the Cham Museum and lunch (included) at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit theMausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang and Emperor Kkai Dinh. Finally, arrival at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 8:

HUE - HO CHI MINH

After breakfast, we will take a boat ride along the so-called Perfume River, to visit one of the most famous places in Hue: the Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit theImperial citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled and itsRoyal Museum. Lunch included at a local restaurant and transfer to Phu Bai airport to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City (flight included). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.


Note: At some times of the year it is possible that this boat trip by the Perfumes River cannot be carried out due to the flooding of the river. In that case we will give another alternative visit.

Day 9:

HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the spectacular Mekong Delta. Transfer to Ben Tre, a city located 85 km from Ho Chi Minh and considered the land of coconuts. Here you can admire the rural life of the area's inhabitants and their green landscapes. From here we will take a boat to navigate the narrow channels of the Tien River, surrounded by dense vegetation. Next, we will cross a village by local transport in “Xe Loi” where we will have the opportunity to observe the activities of the lively local life. Lunch included at a local restaurant and return to Ho Chi Minh where we will enjoy a panoramic view of Ho Chi Minh or Saigon, as some locals still call it. We'll end the day with a stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and the old Central Post Office. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 10:

HO CHI MINH - CUCHI TUNNELS - HO CHI MINH - SIEM REAP

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, located 70 kilometers northwest of Ho Chi Minh City (one and a half hours by car). These narrow tunnels were created in 1948 by the Viet Minh to fight the French and are essential to an underground city since they have living rooms, kitchens, warehouses, armories, hospitals, command centers... During the War against the United States, the entire Cu Chi area was declared a battlefield and was heavily bombed, although the Vietnamese had an advantage because they were very difficult to find under the dense vegetation and rain. Once this historic and interesting visit has been made, it is time to move on to the neighboring country: Cambodia. Transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport to take a flight to Siem Reap (flight included). Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 11:

SIEM REAP - ANGKOR - SIEM REAP

After breakfast it is time to leave early to visit the impressive temple complex: Angkor. This is where the capitals of the Khmer Empire were located during its heyday. Angkor is an ancient Sanskrit word for city; The words thom and wat are from the current Khmer language for “big” and “pagoda” respectively. Thus, Angkor Thom can be understood as the Great City and Angkor Wat as the Temple City. We will spend the morning discovering the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom, visiting the Bayon Temple, the Royal Temple of Baphuon, the Phimean Nakasor heavenly palace and the Terrace of the Leper King, seven meters high and dominated by the statue of King Yama. We will visit Ta Prohm trapped in the arms of the roots of enormous fig trees and giant climbing plants, the famous and magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, symbol of the State of Cambodia and one of the main Khmer monuments, probably dedicated to King Vishnu and astronomical knowledge. All of these temples have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and are the largest and best archaeological complex in all of Southeast Asia. Lunch included at a local restaurant. Before returning to the hotel, we will enjoy a wonderful sunset. Return to the hotel and accommodation.


Day 12:

SIEM REAP

After breakfast, and depending on the season if the water level allows it, we will take a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake area in Southeast Asia, surrounded by through villages of houses built on stilts. We will visit a floating fishing village. Lunch included in a local restaurant. Once lunch is over, we will transfer to Siem Reap airport. The departure flight must be from 6:00 p.m. Billing and boarding procedures to your next destination. End of our services. 


Note: Remember that if your flight returns to Hanoi (Vietnam) you must have a MULTIPLE VISA for Vietnam. Otherwise, the airline in Cambodia may deny you travel.
